Make Your Own Compost Tumbler Workshop: Workshop includes a presentation on the basics of composting. By tumbling this composter around once a week, you could have a barrel of compost by the end of the season. Make Your Own Rain Barrel Workshop: Workshops include a short presentation on water quality and stormwater runoff. Be ready to take home an empty 55-gallon barrel. Participants need a drill to install the rain barrel at home. The barrel will be white or blue.Date: April 28 or May 7Time: 6 -7:30 pm Fee: $44 or $39 for Moorhead residents. Includes supplies. Make and Paint Rain Barrel Workshop: Make and paint your own rain barrel during this two-day workshop. Participants must attend both days. On day one, participants will hear a short presentation about the basics of water quality and the effects of stormwater runoff, sand and put a base coat on their barrel.
