Monthly Volunteer Series: September Riverbank Cleanup

Enjoy an outdoor walk along the river and remove trash with other River Keepers volunteers! River Keepers will provide garbage bags, pickers, and plastic gloves.

Date: Thursday, September 5
Time: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Dike East, Fargo

Pre-registration is required on SignUpGenius or by emailing Kim at Kimberly@riverkeepers.org or calling 701.356.8915.

The first Thursday of the month in the evening we will be hosting one of our ongoing volunteer projects. River Keepers staff will train you in at the beginning. Meet other River Keepers volunteers while helping the community LEARN, SUSTAIN and ENJOY the Red River!

Can’t make this event?  That’s okay, fall is around the corner and that’s a great time of year to schedule your own cleanup. You can choose a section of Drain 27 in South Fargo or one of the many stretches along the Red River in Fargo/Moorhead.  Let us know a day, timeframe, estimated number of volunteers, and a location preference to get a cleanup scheduled. Supplies are provided.

Project Partners for clean ups: River Keepers, Fargo Park District, Moorhead Parks and Recreation, Southeast Cass Water Resource District.
